Jian Ghomeshi (born June 9, 1967) is a Canadian broadcaster born in London, England, and raised in Thornhill, Ontario. He is best known as a national on-air personality on CBC Television and CBC Radio, and host of the daily arts program Q on CBC Radio One. He has hosted various series on TV and radio including The National Playlist, ZeD... Ghomeshi is of Iranian heritage. He graduated with merit from York University with a degree in political science and history.

ژیان قمیشی (متولد ۱۹ خرداد ۱۳۴۶ - لندن، انگلستان)، مجری رادیو و تلویزیون، نویسنده، موسیقی‌دان و برنامه‌ساز ایرانی تبارِ کانادایی‌ست و در شهر تورنهیل، در استان انتاریو بزرگ شده‌است. فرهنگ قمیشی (مهندس) پدر او، و سارا (کارشناس حسابداری) مادر او می باشند. او فارغ التحصیل شایسته ی دانشگاه "یورک" (واقع در تورنتو، کانادا) در رشته ی علوم سیاسی و تاریخ است. ژیان قمیشی هم اکنون در تورنتو مستقر و مجری یک برنامه ی رادیو تلویزیونی روزانه ی ملی و فرهنگی است. این برنامه که به نام استودیو کیو از رادیو سی‌بی‌سی یک و کانال تلویزیونی بولد پخش می‌شود، در سال ۲۰۰۷ با همکاری ژیان قمیشی تهیه شده و امروز یکی از پرطرفدارترین برنامه‌های فرهنگی کانادا است و بالاترین درصد مخاطب رادیویی را در برنامه صبحگاهی سی‌بی‌سی دارد... ژیان قمیشی، برادر زاده ی سیاوش قمیشی خواننده ایرانی است.
